With most regular stalls and attractions set to return, Farmers' Market coordinator Paul Haysom said the Lions Club of Bathurst is hoping for a big crowd at the Bathurst Showground on the weekend.
"We're getting a good reaction from everyone who's missed the event over the last few months, many are keen to return," Mr Haysom said.
"It's going to go off like a house on fire."
The market will continue to be held in and around the Kevin Doherty pavilion, as was the case immediately prior to lockdown, with repair works still in progress on the showground's main pavilions.
But Mr Haysom said the market will continue to take place at its new location within the showground even after works conclude.
"It's a better location, easier to keep an eye on everyone and a more comfortable environment for stallholders and visitors during the warmer months."
While it's looking likely the market will be open only to fully vaccinated visitors, Mr Haysom said organisers are currently working to seek more clarification.
"We'll be operating under COVID-safe protocol, however the market operates under the same precautions as supermarkets, which unvaccinated people are still free to attend," he said.
"We expect to have an answer within days, so pay attention to our Facebook page for updates throughout the week."
The Farmers' Market will take place on Saturday, October 23 from 8am to noon.
