The double dose vaccination rate was up 6.9 per cent from the previous week, putting the community well on the path to 90 per cent fully vaccinated.
As of Sunday, 93.2 per cent of people over the age of 15 years had received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, a 1.4 per cent rise from the previous week.
Health authorities are continuing to call for people to come forward for vaccination, as it reduces the risk of becoming infected and transmitting COVID-19 and, should someone contract COVID-19, significantly reduces the likelihood of them ending up in hospital.
Vaccines are available at various GPs and pharmacies around Bathurst, and at the health district's vaccination hub at Charles Sturt University.
There is also another vaccination option for people this week at the Bathurst Local Aboriginal Land Council building in Russell Street.
Aspen Medical has been engaged by the Commonwealth Government to vaccinated people in the Bathurst community.
It will be at the land council building on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 12.30pm each day.
The only vaccine on offer is Pfizer and there is no need to book an appointment to attend the pop-up vaccination clinic.
It is hoped that more of Bathurst's Indigenous population will come forward for vaccination this week, but the pop-up clinic will vaccinate anyone over the age of 12 years who needs their first or second dose of Pfizer.
Up to 50 people can be vaccinated each day of the clinic.
