Tegan Hartmann joined Eglinton's The Church Block community last year - just before COVID hit - and is happy to hopefully have the worst of the pandemic behind her.
"It's such a nice vibe in the church, plus then having the interaction with people we haven't seen for a couple of months is really nice," Ms Hartmann said.
"I did the free Zoom yoga so 30 minutes online while the Central West was in lockdown ... but you can't step away from life when you're at home. That's the beauty of coming to a yoga class, you can switch off for an hour and go back to life once you leave."
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Regardless of the COVID interruptions since Mindful Movements began two years ago, Ms Hartmann has continued to build her tribe of yoga-lovers and now offers classes five days a week.
She also hosts retreats at Mudgee, incorporating local businesses to create the ultimate relaxing, rural experience, and is hoping to expand these retreats across the Central West.
"We do workshops, for example we're in Mudgee and we use the Mudgee Art House and they do a clay sculpting workshop," Ms Hartmann said.
"We go out to vineyards and do a breakfast picnic after yoga and then we have local providers catering."
For those who have never done yoga there is a 10-week beginners program that will resume in the new year.
