The Bathurst Wallabies Triathlon Club has announced its women's only event for Sunday, December 5, the fourth year the club has hosted an event.
But there's also a few events in the lead up to the women's only triathlon, including a question and answer seminar on Wednesday, October 27, and a training night at the Scots All Saints' east campus on Sunday, November 14.
Wallabies women's coordinator Anna Blackie said it's been fantastic to see how the participation rate has increased in recent years.

"It's a special event and everyone gets behind it because it's so much fun. It's so lovely to see so many faces out achieving goals," she said.
"Four years ago was the first time we had done the event and to be honest, it was quite unique at that time for triathlon clubs in general.
"We're really excited as it's taken off across the board.
"It's certainly recognised as an issue in the sport of triathlon, that women are underrepresented. We noticed that at our club and we've absolutely seen a change in that.
"We have equal representation at our club events but we're keen to see ut carry on with our women's events."
Blackie said the club has received a Her Sport Her Way grant, a NSW Government initiative that aims to increase female participation as players, leaders and coaches, improve facilities, and attract more investment and recognition for women's sport.
The grant will help cover the costs for the training event in November, making it a free event.
"In terms of training sessions, we have one on November 14 at Scots with Luke Gilmour," Blackie said.
"He's a Triathlon Australia accredited coach and he'll be running a special training session for women. That'll be free to attend.
"We'll have the heated pool, just after dark. Rooms to practice our transitions, rooms to ride our bikes around. We're really excited for that new training session."
Blackie is hoping the online event will be a great chance for women to ask questions and improve their confidence.
Shannon Short (exercise physiologist from Body FX), Jac Harvey (dietitian from Marathon Health) and Madhu Tamilarasan (sports doctor from Lithgow Sports Medicine) will all feature on the online panel.
