JARROD Alchin will bring a big kid and a surprise packet to the Bathurst Paceway on Wednesday night in one of the busiest and biggest weeks of racing the trainer has been involved in so far this year.

Before the Menangle Park trainer heads to Bathurst he had a trip to Newcastle on Monday and meeting at his home track on Tuesday.
Alchin will then head to Penrith on Friday before returning to Menangle Park on Saturday night where three of his two-year-olds will line up in Group 1 New South Breeders Challenge finals.
It's a huge week, but if My Ultimate Ronnie, My Ultimate Byron or Madrid win on Saturday he won't be catching up on sleep.
"It's unbelievable to think we've got a bunch of babies as good as we've got, you've just got to enjoy it, try not to let it worry you too much, and enjoy the ride," he said.
"Hopefully we've got two winners and we'll be partying all night."
Though nothing beats a Group 1 success story, Alchin will still be delighted if the two runners he will bring to Bathurst are able to continue their good form as well.
My Ultimate Skeeta is a last start winner at Penrith and from his seven career starts, has only been out of the placings twice.
The two-year-old, whom Alchin thinks has a load of potential, has drawn barrier two for his 1,730 metres Bathurst assignment.
"My Ultimate Skeeta, he's probably unlucky not to get a run in the Breeders Challenge, he was an emergency, and I honestly believe if he got a run he would've been in the final," the trainer said.
"He's just improving and improving, he's getting better and better that horse. He's got a bit of x-factor about him, but he's a real dumb horse.
"The penny hasn't dropped with him and when it does, I think he'll be a seriously good horse. At the moment he's just like a big, overgrown kid, he just doesn't know what it is all about yet."
Before Ultimate Skeeta runs, his stablemate My Ultimate Billy will be in action.
The two-year-old colt has two wins from his two starts, but will be first up since saluting on July 22 and will go from the wide barrier eight draw.
"He's been a little bit of a surprise packet because we didn't actually have much of an opinion of him," Alchin said.
"We give him a couple of trials and he was only fair, well he was okay in his trials but he didn't dominate. But then his first win was terrific and his second win was even better.
"He's drawn a tricky gate for Wednesday racing the older horses, so he's got a bit more of a battle than the other horse, but I think they're both winning chances, that's for sure.
"We've just got a heap of the same grade at the moment and we've just got to try and split them up a bit so they don't have to race one another ... nearly all of them are getting ready for the Breeders Crown in Melbourne or the regional Breeders Challenge races."
Cameron Hart will have the driving duties at Bathurst and like the juveniles he'll sit behind, he is in good form.
Hart qualified Alchin's three Breeders Challenge finalists and won another semi-final in the three-year-old series for Jason Grimson.
He currently leads the NSW drivers' premiership, his count of wins for the season at the start of the week numbering 150. When it comes to driving for Alchin, his winning strike rate is just shy of 50 percent.
"He's on some good horse power at the moment and when drivers are in form and full of confidence, horses feel that," Alchin said.
"There's nothing like confidence and he's got plenty of it at the moment, which is good."
Wednesday night's Bathurst meeting will start at 6.13pm.
