When you drive into town it's given that you will be able to find a park for your car. But that's not always the case for cyclists.

Bathurst man Laurence Outim has been using a bicycle as his main form of transportation for a few years now and at times struggles to find a bike rack to use.
Mr Outim said it's becoming more popular for people to ride their bikes to work or to run errands and he hopes that more bike racks are considered in any future infrastructure plans.
" You have car parking and disabled parking and disabled ramps and stuff like that but there's probably no thought about putting bike racks in," he said
"It would be good to see in the future planning more thought about that.
"People are more environmentally conscious these days and it's healthier too to ride, especially just going a short distance."
Mr Outim travelled around town taking note of the available bike racks and said there were not many options.
Some centres or main streets don't have any at all which proves inconvenient for bike riders.
They either have to find the closest bike rack and walk, catch public transport or take their car if they have one which causes pollution.
"I worked out every thousand kilometres bicycling you save about 250kg of carbon emissions which is quite a lot," Mr Outim said.
"It's about 1000km I do a year now, it saves wear and tear on the car as well, as well as the environment."
In addition to pushing for more bike racks, Mr Outim also hopes to "build a bit of awareness" around bike riding being a practical transport option, especially with electronic bikes making the trip easier.
Councillor Jess Jennings commented on the matter and said he thinks Bathurst can do better when it comes to facilities for cyclists.
"Bike racks should be a relatively easy win because they come as sculptures these days so they have a dual function and they're not just ugly lumps of metal," he said.
"I think we should be looking to make the city as cycle-friendly as possible."
