Futsal BX aims to service the many local players within the Bathurst region by promoting and providing competitions, tournaments, and coach and player development programs.
Futsal BX will be launching a 'Learn to Futsal' program next month for children aged five to nine-years-old, before hoping to start competitions in 2022.
Futsal BX director Anthony Dunn is excited about the sport's potential in Bathurst.

"Futsal brings speed, movement, skill, decision making and first touch into focus and because of the indoor setting and focus on skill, accessibility and inclusion, it has the potential to become the leading indoor sport within the Bathurst region," he said.
"Futsal BX can deliver a range of futsal experiences for players of all ages and ability levels. We recognise that part of our mission is educating the community of the benefits of futsal, which means that a diverse and inclusive approach to our programs will have the best outcomes for participation and growth of the sport.
"Key to our success will be the way in which we engage with the local community through programs for schools, senior citizens, children and adults.
"We will use connections within the football community to promote and host Futsal skills clinics, gala days, tournaments and season-long competitions."
Futsal is the only indoor soccer format recognised by FIFA, however, the stadium did use to run an indoor soccer competition before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, but played under its own rules.
The introductory program is set to run for eight weeks, starting on November 1 and running through to December 20.
There's plans to run a mini fustal competition for 10 weeks from February to April, with a hope of a invitational tournament for local clubs in both seniors and juniors.
Organisers are hoping to run a winter fustal season from May to September, with a day yet to be confirmed when games will be played.
