Both organisations pride themselves on improving the quality of life for cancer sufferers and both rely heavily on community donations.
"The donation's absolutely wonderful, all donations are greatly needed," Daffodil Cottage nursing manager Mooreen Macleay said.
"So we provide things for patients that they wouldn't normally get if we didn't have the donations.
"Things like equipment, extra services for them, and just extra things so they have a really good quality of life or we can enhance their quality of life and for the family members as well."
Mr Spina said Daffodil Cottage and the Bathurst Wig Library do a great job and he and his wife were more than happy to donate.
He said he hopes the donations can help staff and nurses get whatever they need to make life a bit easier for the cancer patients.
"I see Daffodil Cottage as a great institution who help people who are suffering," Mr Spina said.
"With the Wig Library it's absolutely fantastic what they do ... They have beautiful wigs and it just gives them [patients] a little bit of uplifting I guess."
Bathurst Wig Library volunteer Heather Larnach thanked Mr and Mrs Spina for the generous donation.
She said it allows them to not only get beautiful wigs for patients but accessories as well like hats, skull caps and turbans.
"Tony has been so generous to us, this is his second donation that he's given to the Wig Library and it's just amazing," Ms Larnach said.
