Ryan Sargeant, who along with Fiona Aleksandroff, organised the fundraiser, said over $10,800 was raised on the day, with all money going to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Mr Sargeant said almost $3,000 was raised through the sale of helping hands in the lead up to the day, while the silly socks literally sold out.
He said this year the purple and black socks were incredibly popular.
On Saturday, the day of the event, the restaurant also held raffles, with four major prizes. Ticket sales from the raffles came in at almost $2300, and Bathurst Real Estate also made a $100 donation to the cause.
About 575 Big Macs were also sold on the day, with $2 from every one of the burgers sold donated to the charity.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
There were also kiosk donations and a percentage of water bottles sold, which helped boost the figure to a grand total of $10,871.00.
Mr Sargeant said it was an exciting result.
"We were adding it up roughly on Saturday during the afternoon, and we were really excited when we saw it hit double digits," he said.
"So many people came out to support the event it was fantastic.
"The weather on the day was awful, it was cold and raining, but still so many people came out, it was great."
He also thanked all the local businesses.
"We had so many prizes for the raffle, Mitre 10 gave us a wheelbarrow full of goodies, and Priceline also donated.
"A lot of the pubs also donated food vouchers."
