KENNY Spring Solicitor's CEO, Simone Townsend has narrowly missed out on taking out a major award in the annual Women in Law Awards held in Sydney.
Ms Townsend, was named as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards for the second year in a row, attending the black tie awards night in Sydney on Thursday night.
While she narrowly missed out on the win, she was honoured to be named a finalist for the second consecutive year.
Principal of Kenny Spring, Angus Edwards said the multidisciplinary function of legal operations is on the rise in the Australian market, providing companies like Kenny Spring with an opportunity to optimise legal service delivery.
He said the award recognised a female legal operations professional who has successfully implemented change.
Ms Townsend was promoted to CEO last year after leading the team at Kenny Spring through the pandemic challenges of 2020.
