The NSWRL's David Skinner confirmed the amount at Sunday's Group 11 meeting while it was also outlined how that figure will help clubs across Group 11 and Group 10 who take part in the new title race, which has been guaranteed to start next year.
Travel has been one of the biggest talking points from club officials and fans when it comes to the logistics of the competition, but that is one of the many areas where NSWRL will provide support.
NSWRL will also take the responsibility of filming and uploading matches away from clubs, will assist in matchday operations, will pay the costs of Level 2 Sports Trainer accreditation for up to 20 participants, and will also pay for the premiership silverware.
"Between Clarkey, Dave Skinner and myself we've identified that if we're to provide a regional competition it has to be a product that benefits our clubs and be one they can sell to their sponsors," Jones said.
As part of NSWRL's ongoing partnership with the Knock On Effect, bus trips for teams travelling in excess of 300 kilometres in a round trip will be paid for.
A number of the crossover matches between Group 11 and Group 10 clubs will also be further than that number.
Bathurst Panthers is away to Dubbo CYMS and Dubbo Macquarie in the opening two weeks of the competition but neither the 2019 Group 10 premiers or St Pat's have to play Nyngan Tigers, let alone travel to meet them.
A contract will be given for the filming of matches and there will be highlights from all matches on offer for clubs and fans while clubs will also be given the option of live-streaming matches.
"We want to make this comp accessible to people outside our areas," Jones added.
A regional competitions committee, bringing together people from Group 10 and Group 11 working under an independent chairperson, will be formed in the coming weeks.
By-laws for the competition will also be put together ahead of the Western Rams annual general meeting on December 8.
