NT Chief Minister Michael Gunner has revealed that he had been receiving threats from anti-vaxxers, including being told that his young son "will be put in a grave."

Mr Gunner confirmed that the public galleries of NT Parliament had been closed this sitting week out of security concerns from people protesting against the Territory's vaccine mandates.
Fighting back tears, he revealed that he had personally received death threats and that he had been told "my kid will be put in a grave."
"We have a job and we'll do our job. And I thank Police and others for the work that they're doing," Mr Gunner said.
"We'll keep doing whatever it takes to keep the Territory safe."

It comes after a veteran who criticised "freedom" protesters for playing the Last Post during a rally in Darwin has reportedly become the subject of online threats and vitriol.
Police Commissioner Jamie Chalker said police were investigating the threats.
"The reality is there's multiple investigations that we're undertaking, and we'll continue to do so," he said.
"But I'll call it out for what it is, complete and utter cowardice."
