It's been around a half-century tradition for the Bathurst Cycling Club to run a food store on Mount Panorama during Race Week, and that tradition is still going strong.

The club's junior co-ordinator Toireasa Gallagher said it's something they've always done to raise money for their club and she hopes the tradition continues for years to come.
"This is our only fundraiser that we really do for the whole year," Ms Gallagher said.
"It's just progressed over the years so that now we have a permanent store and we turn up every time to sell the food to the race fans.
"It's usually just the four days and that can give us all the money we need to cover expenses and it's perfect because it's hitting up people who aren't from Bathurst, so we get money from out of town which then supports us here in Bathurst."
The club is based in a blue brick building at the top of Mount Panorama's Hell Corner where they sell a long list of food and drinks.
Though numbers have been noticeably down this year due to COVID, Ms Gallagher expects they will still raise enough money to support the club for the year.
The money raised means that cycling members only pay a small entry fee when they participate in cycling events of weekends.
"It's down this year, it has been quiet and it's been the comment over the whole week, even generally in town businesses have noticed it's not as busy," Ms Gallagher said on Sunday.
"Luckily this morning we have picked up and it's going to turn out to be a good day and it'll still give us the money, so it'll be worth being here.
"We have the cheapest race entry fees in Australia, so four days worth of hard work here means our club members benefit for the rest of the year.
"It's better than doing meat raffles at the pub every week."
It takes a lot of man power to organise and run the canteen, with 15 people working at all times to efficiently manage the large number of hungry race fans.
Ms Gallagher thanked the volunteers who have helped out for all their hard work, not only over Race Week but in the weeks leading up to the event, too.
