BATHURST recorded two new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, but health authorities have not issued any new warnings for the region.

Bathurst recorded one new case in Saturday's figures (for the 24 hours to 8pm on Friday) and another new case in Sunday's figures.
Across the Western NSW Local Health District there were 14 new cases in Saturday's figures, including nine cases in the growing Molong cluster, and seven new cases on Sunday with five in Molong.

The new infections bring the total number of COVID-19 cases across WNSW LHD to 1855 since the start of the pandemic but there are currently no patients being treated in hospital.
Health officials have urged people to continue following all the basic measures to keep us COVID-safe including regularly washing and sanitising hands, using QR codes everywhere you go, and wearing masks everywhere they are required and wherever wearing one makes you feel safer.
People are also urged to keep coming forward for testing with even the mildest of symptoms to ensure all cases of COVID-19 can be detected.
Free COVID testing is available at the old Clancy Motors site on Howick Street, Bathurst each day from 8am-4pm.
