His efforts for the Tigers' Mid West Rugby League outfit was rewarded on Saturday as he scooped the pool at their presentation, Behan picking up the first grade players' player and the best and fairest awards.
On top of that, having impressed so much in his first season with the Tigers since 2014, Behan also received the club's overall best and fairest trophy.
But he was not the only one to have his efforts recognised.
Jade Taggart backed up her stellar 2020 season by taking out the league tag best and fairest award for the second successive season.
League tag coach Shannon Foley was deservedly awarded the prestigious Clubwoman of the Year award for her hard work and dedication to Tigers, while Dallas Booth and Luke Christie-Johnston were given the honour of life membership.
After the Tigers had acknowledged their finest, the club staged its Can Assist charity event. The rain which threatened stayed away with clear blue skies and a gentle breeze making for idyllic conditions.
With gun auctioneers James Walton and Greg Ryan from Bowyer and Livermore in full cry, the Tigers were able to raise the astonishing amount of $29,500 for Can Assist, easily passing last year's record tally.
The small tight-knit Oberon Tigers' community came together and dug deep as they always do.
There was emotion aplenty as the specially designed, one-off Can Assist jerseys displayed the names of family, loved ones and friends emblazoned across the chest who had either won the battle against cancer, or succumbed after a brave fight.
The Tigers were hugely thankful for the generosity of the Oberon community and business-houses who donated goods and services which were also auctioned.
It pushed the finally total up to 'beyond the wildest dreams' of the Tigers committee.
The Tigers wish to thank to Dean Campbell, from D.A. Campbell Transport for providing a taut-trailer as the stage, Bowyer and Livermore, Oberon Council and Oberon Leagues Club for the use of their facility.
