It will be one of two Tickford Racing machines to go under the hammer, with the other being the FGX Falcon in which Mark Winterbottom won the 2015 Supercars Championship.
Lloyds Auctions chief operating officer Lee Hames said Waters' car, in particular, represented a great opportunity for the successful bidder.
"A few months ago, we auctioned the Walkinshaw Andretti United Vehicle which then went onto to win Bathurst a few weeks back and possibly doubled its price instantly, which the new owners were extremely excited about and thrilled to be a part of," he said.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
The Monster Energy car will continue racing through the end of 2022 and before being handed back to the new custodian.
It is the first chassis built by Tickford Racing directly to Mustang specifications and Cam Waters is the only driver to race the car to date.
It will come with all paperwork, set up sheets and all crucial running gear, including its Tickford-prepared V8 engine, allowing the next owner to take it to the track almost immediately.
Also going under the hammer is the Tickford Racing FGX Falcon which won the 2015 Supercars Championship.
"These are two iconic race cars and pieces of Australian motorsport history that are not to be missed, we have had great interest in them and are excited to see them go to the new custodians," Mr Hames said.
"This is Lloyds second Grand Carmada event and is set to be a huge success, with over 350 classic cars going under the hammer as well as these iconic race cars."
Both cars will be auctioned at 7pm on Sunday as part of a massive two-day Lloyds auction with more than 350 classic cars on sale.
