PARALYMPICS swimming medallist Tiffany Thomas Kane has been announced as the Bathurst region's Australia Day ambassador for 2022.
Ms Kane won two bronze medals at the Tokyo Paralympics in breast stroke and individual medley events and she won gold at the 2019 World Para Swimming Championships in London.
She made her career debut at just 13 after being born with hypochondraplasia, a developmental disorder which resulted in her short stature.
