I was one of the 11 community members interviewed. At the time of interview there were five community positions available plus two ex-officio.

The minister should explain why the number of board members was reduced from seven to five after the completion of the interview process.

Why was it necessary to include two ex-officio members from the Agricultural, Horticultural and Pastoral Association (effectively having the tenants on the board)?

I believe the outcome of this modified process has effectively given control of the Bathurst Showground to the Agricultural, Horticultural and Pastoral Association.
