MacKillop College graduates Mia Davis and Olivia Ditchfield both achieved highly in every unit, making them all-round achievers.

The girls were over the moon with their results.

"I was really nervous," Olivia said.

"I had set my aim, I wanted 90, and I was still not confident I would get that at all, so when it came through that I had got 96.8, I was ecstatic.

"I was really proud and my parents were really proud."

Olivia plans to study a bachelor of commerce majoring in marketing, while Mia will take a gap year to allow more time to think about the future.

Having received an ATAR of 97.55, she has numerous options to explore.

"I think I want to do physiotherapy, ideally at Newcastle, but we'll see," she said.

"I've got a year to think about it and my result definitely opened up a lot of avenues for me, so I'm very happy about that."

With COVID causing a number of disruptions to the girls' senior years, MacKillop College principal Steven Muller said the cohort handled their studies really well.

He said the school is very pleased with the overall results of the students and it's a real credit to them considering the unprecedented circumstances.

"We're really pleased for the girls; they've achieved some remarkable results," Mr Muller said.

"With the COVID situation and everything that's gone on, we're really impressed with how the girls have just knuckled down and, with the support of their teachers, just worked really hard and achieved these results."

Olivia thanked her teachers and the school for helping her to exceed her goals and perform so well.

"I'm so grateful for the support of MacKillop, in particular the teaching staff," she said.

"Our results are a credit to them as well."
