THE Western NSW Local Health District no longer has any cases of COVID in ICU in its hospitals, according to the latest update.

It's a second day of good news for the health district, whose total number of hospitalised COVID cases is well down on the peak of 41 (three of whom were in ICU) of four days ago.
The latest update says there are 31 COVID cases in the health district's hospitals, which is unchanged on the 24 hours before.
Western NSW Local Health District had 404 new cases of COVID detected by PCR overall, of which Bathurst Regional had 61.
Dubbo Regional had 122 (four of them at Wellington), Orange had 96 and Mid-Western 17 (eight of them at Mudgee).
Oberon had seven and Blayney Shire six.
There was a total of 38 COVID cases in hospital in the health district to 8pm on Saturday, two of whom were in ICU; a total of 41 to 8pm on Sunday, three of whom were in ICU; and a total of 39 in the 24 hours to 8pm on Monday, three of whom were in ICU.
There were 31 cases in hospital in the health district and two in ICU to 8pm on Tuesday.
IN OTHER NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
Across NSW, in the 24 hours to 8pm on Wednesday, there were 30,825 positive test results (cases) notified - 13,178 positive rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 17,647 positive PCR tests.
Of the 13,178 positive RAT results, 11,034 of these positive tests were from the previous seven days, NSW Health says.
There were 25 deaths reported by NSW Health - nine women and 16 men.
Six were from western Sydney, five from south-eastern Sydney, three from Sydney's inner west, two from the Central Coast, two from the Northern Beaches, two from the Lake Macquarie area, one from the Newcastle area, one from south-western Sydney, one from Queanbeyan, one from Albury and one from the Illawarra-Shoalhaven region.
IN OTHER NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
NSW Health says there are 2781 COVID-19 cases admitted to hospital in the state, down by 82 on the previous day, and 212 people in intensive care, down by five on the previous day.
Of those, 68 require ventilation, which is up by two on the previous day.
