Featuring headline act Vika & Linda, as well as Carla Lippis, Hot Potato Band, The Lachy Dooley Group and others, the festival will take place across three distinctive venues: the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre, Keystone 1889 and The Victoria Bathurst.

BMEC centre manager Stephen Champion said while the event will be restricted as a result of COVID, there will be plenty on offer for all types of music fans.

"Unfortunately, people will have to be seated at our concerts, but we had to endure this last year, and with two new venues involved, there'll still be plenty of music for audiences to enjoy," Mr Champion said.

"Tickets have been on sale now since last Friday, and we expect more to be sold in the weeks leading up to the event."

The event will also include the Regional Songwriting Contest, inviting Central West musicians the opportunity to submit their own songs for a chance at securing studio time.

"We've had around 20 entries so far, and there's still a little way to go until entries close, so the response to the contest has been really positive," Mr Champion said.

"It'll bring a new element to the festival this year, so we hope the community will drop into Keystone on February 23 to check it out."

The Inland Sea of Sound Festival will run from February 23 to 26, with the interactive Sea of Light to also feature.
