The likes of Jeremy Thackray, Brad Glasson and Percy Raveneau are all set to come back into the Bulldogs squad for the local derby match with Bathurst City at George Park 1.
Considering how close Bulldogs' nearest rivals are on the ladder and the fact that Redbacks will be desperate for a win, their return is a timely one according to skipper Ryan Peacock.
"I think we're a pretty good shout [against Redbacks]," he said.
"We've got a few guys back into the side this week. That'll be really handy for us, especially coming off the back of a win, you're always confident."
Bulldogs enjoyed a five-wicket win against ORC in their most recent game last Saturday, a result which saw them leapfrog the Tigers on the ladder to now be sitting in third leading into this Saturday's game.
Bulldogs' opponent in the round nine match has only managed just the two wins this summer, currently sitting in a lowly eighth position.
While Redbacks might be down the bottom end of the ladder, Peacock knows Bulldogs will have to be on their game if they want to claim victory.
"They like to score pretty quickly, so if we can limit that early on, I think that'll go a long way to getting a result," he said.
The Rugby Union versus Bathurst City is one of five matches across BOIDC and one of three games in Bathurst.
There's another two local derbies down the road, with St Pat's Old Boys playing Centennials Bulls at Morse Park 1, while next door ORC will play host to City Colts at Morse Park 2.
The two matches in Orange are local derbies, with CYMS playing City at Riawena and Centrals and Cavaliers to clash at Wade Park.
All games will start at 1pm.
