THE number of hospitalised COVID cases in the Western NSW Local Health District continues to bounce around, but the latest update shows ICU figures are steady.

The number of cases in the health district's hospitals went from 25 to 23 in Thursday morning's update and rose to 28 in Friday morning's update.
There remain four cases in ICU.
There were 215 positive PCR test results and 257 positive rapid antigen test (RAT) results identified in the Western NSW Local Health District in the 24 hours to 8pm on Thursday.
Bathurst Regional local government area had 65 new cases identified by PCR (after 127 new cases in the previous 24 hours), Dubbo had 108 and Orange 93.
Oberon had nine and Blayney Shire 10.
IN OTHER NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
Across NSW, in the 24 hours to 8pm on Thursday, there were 13,333 positive test results (cases) notified - 7077 positive rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 6256 positive PCR tests.
There were 35 deaths reported by NSW Health - 15 women and 20 men.
Twelve people were from south-western Sydney, seven from western Sydney, three from southern Sydney, three from the Lake Macquarie area, two from northern Sydney, one from Sydney's Inner West, one from the Northern Beaches, one from the Eastern Suburbs, one from the Southern Tablelands, one from the Northern Rivers region, one from the Tweed Heads area, one from Maitland and one from the Central Coast.
IN OTHER NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
Of those, 78 require ventilation, which is up by six on the previous day.
