Marathon Health has made their free GP after hours service available for Bathurst residents from the comfort of their homes, allowing social distancing requirements to be met.

The changes are in response to federal government concerns that people are neglecting health and wellbeing in fear of COVID-19.
Marathon Health's portfolio manager of primary health services Shellie Burgess said the service can now accommodate clients through phone or video consults.
"The Bathurst after hours telephone service is proving crucial to residents who need medical advice outside of normal GP hours," Ms Burgess said.
"We urge people to use this service if they have any non-emergency concerns and need medical advice from a local GP."
In addition, Marathon Health's walk-in weekend GP clinic is now operating via phone or video for patients.
"Some people still need to present to the clinic in person, but for others, we are really excited to now be able to support them over the phone or by video," Ms Burgess said.
"This is good news for residents because they can stay home and safe and still access the care they need."
