Travelling at nearly 600 kilometers an hour six Roulettes put on a breath taking aerobatic display that involved extreme precision and skill over Mount Panorama on Friday.

Flight Lieutenant Shaun Rajzbaum said the sunny conditions at Mount Panorama had made for a good display.
“The display was nice and easy but the mountain and the high terrain does mean we get a fair bit of turbulence from all the hills that are around,” he said.
The RAFF Roulettes travel across the country to showcase their choreographed sky show.
“Every single display we do is different and that’s what makes it enjoyable,” he said.
“Last weekend we were in Sydney Harbor trying to do a display in a tightly confined area and this weekend we’re at the race track, so it’s different every week.”
Mr Rajzbaum said it was performing over large events that gave the pilots an adrenaline rush.
“When you’ve got so much experience, the rush actually comes from the event you’re overhead of,” he said.
“The rush is looking back down through the canopy while your upside down or on a steep turn, seeing all the camera flashes going off.”
While the Roulettes have been coming to the Bathurst 1000 for many years it is Mr Rajzbaum’s first time at the great race.
“I’m looking forward to checking out some of the cars going into the pits and having a look around,” he said.
Mr Rajzbaum said the Roulettes were keen to mingle with race goers.
“Its good to talk to people on the ground after we’ve done the display, to have a chat to them face to face.”
“We love showing the people of Australia what we can do.”
When the Rouletts are not showcasing their skill, they train qualified RAFF pilots to become flying instructors.
The Rouletts will perform again at Mount Panorama over the weekend.
