The Modern Art mare will be Turnbull's 20,000th runner in a race.
Only recently Turnbull brought up his 3000th winner as a trainer and both milestones are a credit to a horseman who has been involved in the sport of harness racing for more than 30 years.
During his career Turnbull has won some of the biggest races in Australia with his stable star Smooth Satin, including the Inter Dominion, Miracle Mile and Chariots Of Fire.
Going into tonight's meeting at Bathurst, Turnbull's training record reads 19,999 starts for 3034 winners. He's also brought up 5834 placings and 2436 fourths.
Turnbull has recorded more than 100 winners in a season on 10 occasions and brought up his career best 217 winners in 13/14.
Steve Turnbull trained horses have won $14,084,413 in prizemoney.
As a driver Turnbull's record is 13,529 drives for 2140 winners, 4074 placings and 1692 fourths.
