Popular children’s group The Wiggles staged two shows that had the large crowds on their feet dancing along.
The last original member of the quartet, Anthony, was joined on stage by new recruits Emma, Lachy and Simon.
Despite the massive shake up to the line up, their young audience showed no signs of disappointment and neither did their parents, many of whom remembered watching The Wiggles when they were children.
The performance offered something for everyone with its great combination of new songs and the classics, including ‘Fruit Salad’, ‘Hot Potato’ and ‘Big Red Car’.
Old friends Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur and Wags the Dog also popped by for some musical fun.
“Wags is doing laps of Mount Panorama in the Big Red Car,” Anthony said at one point in the show.
The group also chose to leave the stage to interact with their young fans as they performed, collecting bones and roses as they went.
Bianca Dean was one of the many parents who brought their children to see The Wiggles, and loved the fact that people of all ages could appreciate their act.
“My toddler enjoys it,” she said.
The Wiggles now move on to Kingsford for the next leg of their Rock ‘n’ Roll Preschool tour.
