A MAN has been charged over a fatal crash near Bathurst last month.

Emergency services were called to Sofala Road at Kelso just after 6am on Monday, September 21 after a Ford Falcon and Nissan utility collided.
The front-seat passenger of the Falcon – a 42-year-old woman – died at the scene.
The driver – a 49-year-old man - was taken to Bathurst Base Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. He also underwent mandatory blood and urine testing.
The 42-year-old male Nissan driver wasn’t injured but was taken to hospital to undergo mandatory testing.
While officers from Chifley Local Area Command attended the scene, the inquiry was conducted by specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit.
Following inquiries, the 49-year-old man was arrested at Orange Police Station about 2.30pm on Thursday.
The Bathurst man was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death; negligent driving occasioning death; fail to supply police a version; as well as an outstanding warrant.
He was bail refused to appear at Orange local court on Friday.
