The community have been invited to add a loved one’s name to special edition jerseys that will be worn by the AFL club’s two senior teams.
Following the game, the jerseys will then be auctioned that night with all funds raised to go to Ronald McDonald House Orange.
Bushrangers president Graeme Grundy suggested names on the jerseys could be of loved ones affected by cancer, those suffering a life-threatening illness or someone with a mental health issue.
He said adding a name will be a way of honouring their battle.
“There’s still lots of space on the back and front of jerseys,” Mr Grundy said.
Names are $5 each and must be purchased by 5pm on Wednesday, July 6 by calling Graeme Grundy on 0419 693 834.
The charity matches will be held at the club’s home grounds at George Park on Saturday, August 13 at 12.45pm and 2.30pm.
