A MAN charged with allegedly defrauding elderly women of $14,600 for work on their homes that was not completed has pleaded not guilty to three charges of obtaining financial benefit by deception.

Charles Caston, 26, of Crayford Crescent, Mount Pritchard appeared before magistrate Michael Allen in Bathurst Local Court on Monday, where he entered a plea of not guilty.
Mr Allen adjourned the matter until September 26, with Caston excused if legally represented.
Bail is to continue.
