Giants earned a spot in the grand final thanks to a 7-10-52 to 3-5-23 win over Bathurst Bushrangers in Saturday’s major semi-final.
The Giants went through the regular season undefeated, 13 consecutive victories handing the Bathurst outfit the minor premiership.
That effort saw the Giants take on the Bushrangers in the first grand final qualifier on Saturday at George Park 2.
The Bushrangers outfit gave themselves hope of springing an upset with a strong first half, the rivals locked at 1-5-11 apiece at the long break.
But the Giants lifted, booting six goals five in the second half while restricting their rivals to just two majors.
Mitch Taylor and Rob Mason shared players’ player honours for the Giants.
Bushrangers will face Young in this Saturday’s preliminary final.
