A 42-YEAR-OLD man was refused bail in Bathurst Local Court on Saturday after he allegedly stabbed another man.

Emergency services were called to Gormans Hill Road about 8.30pm on Friday after a 32-year-old man was stabbed, suffering a number of cuts to his head.
The injured man was taken to Bathurst Hospital. His injuries were not considered life threatening.
The 42-year-old is charged with wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
