The inaugural air, car and motorbike show drew a staggering 8000 people to Bathurst Airport when it was held in May this year.
And such was the success, that organisers have scheduled a two-day extravaganza for March 25 and 26, 2017.
Lifeline Central West are behind the event, and executive officer Alex Ferguson said council’s funding will go a long way to ensuring it is successful.
At council’s recent monthly meeting, councillors voted to provide $10,000 of in-kind support, along with a $300 cash grant for the event.
Funds will go towards crowd fencing, waste services, council staff support for the event and a wavier of landing fees.
The $300 will be for the provision of the Bathurst Regional Council best in show prize.
Mr Ferguson said the charity received such tremendous support for its inaugural event that they had difficulty fitting everything into one day.
