The Shetland Pony Society of Australia Inc only holds its Super Show every five years, and this year it will be held at the Bathurst Showground.
”The show is for Shetland ponies only,” Shetland Pony Society of Australia president Ray Faulds said.
The show will also feature a local element.
“We will once again have the Scots School Pipe Band attending on Saturday to lead our judges and ponies into the ring,” Mr Faulds said.
“The pipe band will also perform during our lunch break.
“Catering will be done by Judy Williams from Bathurst and our ring stewards will be from the local area.”
Mr Faulds wanted to thank all of the Bathurst locals “who have helped us in organising the event”.
The Super Show will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 29 and 30.
