A 22-year-old man has been struck by lightning and killed at Moolarben on Tuesday.

NSW Ambulance Service were called to Moolarben Road, Moolarben around 4.15pm with reports of a person struck by lightning.
Police have been told two men, along with members of the Rural Fire Service, were attending to grass fires on a property, on Moolarben Road, Moolarben, (about 25km north of Mudgee), about 3pm yesterday (Tuesday 7 February 2017).
A short time later, a 22-year-old man was struck by lightning and Rural Fire Service members immediately commenced CPR.
NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived, however, the man died at the scene.
Officers attached to Mudgee Local Area Command will prepare a report for the Coroner.
It’s believed the 22 year-old was checking on live stock.
A severe storm started a number of fires in the area, which NSW RFS have now listed as under-control.
