The under 16s side had it easy against Lithgow in their semi-final, as they raced to a victory in next to no time at the Bathurst Sportsground.
Lithgow batted and scored a disappointing 54 runs off 30.5, as Lachlan Yates topped scored with 16 runs.
It took Bathurst just 14.3 overs to win the game, with a score of 2-55 of 14.3.
“It was not much of a game,” under 16s coach Shane Broes said.
“Everyone bowled well and contributed on the day.”
Ben Cant opened at number one and smashed a top score for Bathurst, with 20 runs.
Broes believes his team will have the upper hand going into the final, against Orange.
“It won’t be an easy game,” he said.
“They [Orange] played very negative cricket [in our previous game] and they’ll have to change it if they want to win.
“I’d hate to think that they would play the same way.”
The final will be held at The Scot’s School on Sunday, March 5.
The Bathurst under 14s chased down Orange Black’s score of 150 of 49.2, in 42.2 overs.
Their win sets up a date against Orange Gold on March 5, in the colour city.
