Arts OutWest arts and health co-ordinator Christine McMillan will talk about Art Connections, an art and dementia program at Jemalong Residential Village in Forbes.
The Getting It Together talks provide insights into the management of dementia as a palliative illness and are aimed at health care workers, carers of people of dementia and the general community.
Key speaker is Tasmanian-based geriatrician Dr Jane Tolman. Her talk will be highlighted by carer stories read by local actors Kate Smith and Vince Melton.
Organiser and Bathurst-based palliative care clinical nurse consultant James Daley will be playing a selection of Celtic guitar pieces.
There will be two sessions: 11am-1pm at Bathurst Hospital Heritage Building lecture theatre and 5pm-7pm at the Ponton Theatre at CSU.

Evans workshops
IF you like workshops, Evans Arts Council has you covered.
Their Mixed Media Art Class runs this Saturday, June 17 from 10am-3pm at a private home at Dunkeld.
On July 15, learn crochet with china painting coming up August 26.
