It’s not just a list of many Astley Cup events, it’s the events which Bathurst High School’s Zen Clark took part in.
And he did not lose one in this week’s deciding tie against Dubbo Senior College.
Clark, the son of Darren Clark who ran in the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games, won every event he took part in at the athletics while the soccer, where he caused havoc on the right wing, and basketball matches but ended in draws.
His high jump efforts were stunning, as was the leap in long jump, but it was on the track where he really stood out a class above everyone else.
“This is my second year and it’s great to get the win and participate,” he said, before something which makes his efforts even more impressive. “I don’t train for it. I just turn up and do it but my Dad went to the Olympics so maybe one day I’ll start training.”
Bathurst High beat Dubbo 479-321.
