The skater, aged around 17 or 18 years old, fell and injured her leg during the 3pm skating session on Thursday at the Bathurst Winter Festival.
At the time, Fire and Rescue NSW Bathurst crews were on site for an unrelated call at Bathurst Court House.
Station Officer Guy Dover said they were called to assist the injured skater at 3.40pm.
“We came out [of the court] and saw people moving around a young lady on the ice,” he said.
“I got the crew to get the stretcher board and take her off the ice into the marquee out of the cold.
“I think she’s dislocated her knee.”
Bathurst paramedic crews then arrived at the scene to take over management of the patient.
