“We really appreciate the work Fully Promoted has done to raise money for us.”
Fully Promoted owner Liz Luisi said she was inspired to donate money because of two cancer sufferers – Luke Harrison and Linda Golding – close to her.
“We got behind selling beanies for cancer. We didn’t sell all of them, but we were close enough that we wanted to award the money on Daffodil Day,” she said.
Fully Promoted ran an online beanie selfie competition which was won by Ryley Masman, with the winner in attendance as the cheque was handed over to the Daffodil Cottage.
Daffodil Day is one of Australia’s best known and most popular fundraising events, with merchandise and daffodils sold in mass every year.
