The bureau has forecast maximum temperatures of just 11 degrees Celsius on both days – a dramatic slide back to wintry conditions after the mercury rose into the 20s on Sunday.
There is also the chance of showers from the late morning, possibly falling as snow above 1000 metres.
The bureau also issued a sheep graziers warning that cold temperatures, showers and strong westerly winds were expected on the Central Tablelands on Tuesday.
