A MAN accused of supplying a commercial quantity of methamphetamine has been committed to stand trial in Bathurst District Court after pleading not guilty to a string of alleged drug offences.

David John Peters, 24, formerly of Redgum Place, pleaded not guilty to 11 charges, which include supplying a prohibited drug equal to or greater than a large commercial quantity (1166 grams of methamphetamine) and supplying a prohibited drug equal to or greater than a commercial quantity (792 grams of methamphetamine).
He is also charged with three counts of supplying a prohibited drug equal to or greater than an indictable quantity.
Peters is further charged with the possession of a .32 calibre Smith and Wesson revolver, the possession of a shortened firearm, the possession of a .357 calibre Magnum pistol and other firearms offences.
Peters entered a plea of not guilty before magistrate Michael Allen.
Mr Allen listed the matters for telephone callover on September 27, to be included in the next available sittings of Bathurst District Court.
Co-accused Renee Borg also entered a not guilty plea to a charge of supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.
Police allege that between August 21, 2015 and November 3, 2015, Borg knowingly took part in the supply of 448 grams of methamphetamine.
The matter was also committed for trial with a telephone callover on September 27.
A third co-accused, Kylie Jane Gray, 54, who is charged with supplying a prohibited drug, also entered a not guilty plea.
