Shoppers at participating businesses around Bathurst who make eligible purchases have been going into the draw to win the car, from Clancy Motors, as part of the celebrations for Biz Month.
Ally Fashion regional manager Lauren Robinson said Crazy Day always “goes off” with customers.
“It’s a great initiative and it’s good to get the people,” she said. “We’ve seen people willing to pay an extra $4 to $10 to go in the draw [for the Kia Picanto].”
Terry White Chemists had tables of cosmetics and perfumes on sale, ranging from 10 per cent off to 60pc off.
Inspiration owner Jan Tasker said sales on Crazy Day can be affected by location.
“People are committed shoppers to where they get groceries,” she said.
“Certain customers will miss the sales because they might shop at Coles.
“We’ve noticed a lot of interest from outside of Bathurst, with people coming from Blayney, Portland and Wallerawang.”
The winner of the car will be drawn live on air on 2BS on Friday, September 29.
