Twenty tractors registered to take part in the recent two-day event which saw them chug across the region to raise more than $100,000 and a lot of awareness for Little Wings Children’s Charity.
Trek director Geoff Porter said this was the first year the group has operated as an independent charity and it was a huge success.
“Most of our money comes through sponsorships of the tractors,” he said.
The 20 tractors, including seven from Bathurst, were a variety of styles from a vintage 1950 Chamberlain 9G to a vehicle just a couple of years old.
The trek departed Orange and then travelled through Cargo, Cudal, Lake Canobolas and Millthorpe before returning to Orange.
“I just want to thank all our sponsors, donors, marshals, officials and catering people who have helped ... without them we couldn’t do it,” Mr Porter said.
