But first the association wants to get an idea of the community’s interest in taking part.
The P and C is organising a colour run and sausage sizzle to be held on the St Stanislaus’ College oval on Sunday, November 5 from 11am.
A colour run involves participants in white T-shirts running, walking or jogging a course that includes stations where coloured powder is thrown in the air.
Event co-ordinator Bianca Young will be at Bathurst McDonald’s this Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm to sign up members of the community who want to take part.
They will be given a silicon wristband they can use as their entry on the day, though participants can sign up on the day as well.
“It's a fundraiser for the school,” Ms Young said. “The kids are really keen, but it is open to everyone.”
The cost for the colour run will be $10 for adults and $5 for under 16s.
