The Bathurst Outdoor Expo and Christmas Markets will be held across both days, while the Bathurst Truck Show will be held on Saturday and the Bathurst Swap Meet, Car and Bike Show will be held on Sunday.
If that wasn’t enough, the A9X Torana Club of Australia will celebrate its 40th anniversary, as club members show off their cars to the public on Sunday.
It’s been a busy week for both Designer Events’ Debbie Campbell and Haylie Mammoliti, who have been hard at work organising both the markets and truck show.
Ms Mammoliti said there will be plenty of items up for grabs at the markets.
“Every thing from hand made items – jewellery, baby items and items you don’t really see at the shops,” she said.
“There’ll be caravans on show, Bridgestone Tyres and Narellan Pools will also be here.
“At the truck show, there’ll be a 007 truck on display which featured in a James Bond movie. That truck is coming from Klos Customer Trucks in Victoria. There’ll be 100 trucks on display and people [who bring the trucks] can win trophies.”
Santa will be making an appearance at midday on both days.
Over 200 market stalls will be on offer, with food stalls, entertainment and children rides set to feature on the weekend.
Attendees are encouraged to come early, as it will take a while to see everything that will be on offer at the showground.
The markets will run from 9am to 3pm on both days and gate entry is $5 and free for children under 10.
The swap meet opens at 7am on Sunday.
A9X Torana Club of Australia will also celebrate its 40th anniversary from November 17 to 19, as the club descends on the region.
Private events for club members and entrants will be held on both Friday and Saturday, as they cruise to Central West attractions including Carcoar Dam, Wyangala Dam and Millthorpe.
A9X Torana Club of Australia secretary Peter Dixon said there will be a couple of opportunities for the general public to check out the cars.
“The first will be at Tarana on the Saturday at the Tarana Hotel,” he said.
“The second opportunity will be on the Sunday when the club will be participating in the show and shine as part of the Bathurst Swap Meet, Car and Bike Show being held at the showground.”
