Boost Juice Bars is an international chain of retail outlets that specialise in selling fruit juice and smoothies.
Sally Nathan, the domestic and international franchise development manager for Retail Zoo, said Bathurst had been earmarked as part of a regional expansion program.
“Boost has been focused on regional expansion for some time and Bathurst naturally presented as a great opportunity for us,” Ms Nathan said.
“We have identified the Stockland Shopping Centre as an opportunity and are excited by the prospect of entering the local market.
“We know that Bathurst has a large percentage of young residents which lends itself to the Boost brand.”

Ms Nathan said the brand had a number of metropolitan, regional and travel centre opportunities available Australia-wide.
“While we have been in the market for 17 years, we still plenty of opportunity for further expansion as Boost continues to go from strength to strength,” she said.
While Orange has a Boost Juice, if the opportunity is seized it will be the first time the brand has had a presence in the city.
Since airing the proposal, Ms Nathan said the company had received many calls and expressions of interest.
”We take the recruitment of our franchisees (who we refer to as partners) very seriously and as such, will only open a store when we have found the right people to represent our brand in Bathurst,” she said.
Ms Nathan said the initial investment cost for a new Boost Juice store generally falls between $280,000-$350,000, plus GST.
“This price includes the franchise fee, design and fit out of the store, plant and equipment and for two people to participate in the Boost training program,” she said.
She said what makes Boost special is it makes healthy living both tasty and fun.
“At Boost, we are committed to providing a unique retail experience that is consistent, fun and reliable for each and every customer,” Ms Nathan said.
“This focus, coupled with healthy, great tasting products, proven systems and cheeky marketing campaigns is the foundation of Boost’s success.”
