A benefit concert was held on Saturday night at Bathurst Panthers Club to raise money for her to seek treatment overseas, as it would cost around $40,000 on top of the medical costs her family is already shouldering for the medication she requires.
Ms Reynolds and her family approached country music star Adam Harvey a couple of months ago to see if he could help in any way with their fundraising efforts.
Mr Harvey was kind enough to donate his time for the benefit concert.
He was joined by Bathurst musicians Mickey Pye and his base player Isabel Fulton, and duo Smith and Jones.
The musicians played a few songs together and gave the crowd the chance to laugh and dance.
In addition to the music, there was a charity auction and raffle on the night.
Ms Reynolds said it was a very successful night with a huge turn-out, thanks in large part to the musicians who offered their talent.
“It was very emotional and overwhelming knowing the crowd and the performers had all come together to support me and my family,” she said.
“The musicians were absolutely fantastic, the auction was a huge success and everyone was very supportive with our raffle.
“My family and I are extremely grateful for the generosity of our community, Panthers, and of course the stars of the night.”
A total for the night has yet to be determined, but it will be added to the amount already raised through Ms Reynolds’ GoFundMe page.
“At this stage I'm unsure of the exact figure that we have raised, but I appreciate every donation,” Ms Reynolds said.
“We are planning on having a few more fundraisers in the new year as we build up to my treatment overseas.”
