So, in the lead up to this festive period, the Western Advocate sat some down with kindergarten students from right across the city to talk Christmas presents.
And, as you would expect, the wishes were varied.
Natalie, 6, from Bathurst Public School would like a unicorn, while Sailor, 6, from All Saints' College would like a skateboard.
Milla, 6, from Bathurst South Public would like red goo; Maya, 5, from Cathedral School would like a toy puppy dog; and Nate, 6, from Kelso Public would like a musical Mario Bros game.
Anthony, 8, from Carenne School said: “Batman Lego, I like Batman Lego.”
While, other students had already decided on a list of presents they would like from Santa.
Ayden, 6, from The Assumption School said: “I would like a [Nintendo] DS, and Xbox 360 and a soccer ball whistle.”
While, Alexander, 6, from The Scots School would like: “A new PS4 [PlayStation] game, a bike that can’t get its screw loose because my bike’s screw is loose now; and a new monster truck.”
Check out the video with all the students’ responses on the Western Advocate’s Facebook page.
