And while Ryan starred with the ball, the Sellers brothers scored 176 runs between them at The Scots School – Wayne scoring 96 runs not out and Dave scoring 80.
Bathurst skipper Jameel Qureshi was full of praise for Ryan.
“He bowled really well. He did his job really well,” he said.
“He was probably better because he had Ben Mitchell down the other end. He was roughing them up a bit.”
The Sellers brothers also got a mention from the skipper
“It was a really good effort from them,” Qureshi said.
“We had a few guys out and it’s like what I’ve been saying before, we’ve got to put in a full performance and we did that yesterday.
“It was good to see a few different guys step up. I can’t fault any part of the performance, to be honest.”
While the game was against first (Bathurst) and second (Blue Mountains), with both teams having won both of its two games, the game was far from close.
Bathurst batted first and opened with Imran Qureshi (18) and Josh Toole (26).
Dave Sellers came in at number three, while Ryan Peacock scored 40 runs at number four before being caught out from a Nicholas Hancott ball.
Qureshi scored 23, Sam Macpherson finished with 11 runs and Connor Slattery only managed four runs after being caught out from a Reece Boothroyd ball.
Bathurst survived its 50 overs, with Ben Mitchell (one run) not out, alongside Wayne Sellers.
“I can’t fault any part of the performance,” Qureshi said.
“The batting was good, fielding was good, bowling was good. We did everything we needed to do.
“However, I think we haven’t put in a full performance.
“We pride ourselves playing as a team. We finally did that on Sunday.
“We just need to keep working together, playing as a team. Our strength is our depth.”
With the likes of Matt Stephen, Henry Shoemark, Aaron Seymour, Luke Powell, Ben Parsons and Nic Broes all unavailable on Sunday, it will be a frustrating task for selectors when picking the XI to play in the next game.
Bathurst’s next game is in the Western Zone Premier League when they will play Parkes at home, on January 14, 2018.
Bathurst’s next game in Presidents Cup is not until February 18, when the team travels away to play Mudgee in the final round of the competition.
